Control Station Procedures
W4BXI has developed a very good
set of procedures for the Saturday net.

- Get the frequency before net
time
- Open the net with the preamble
(first paragraph at this
page)
- Establish relay stations, if
needed
- Make brief announcements
- Call for short-timer check-ins
(those who can stay only a few minutes)
- Roll call of regular check-ins
(by member number & call sign)
- Announce rotation sequence of
check-ins
- Moderate the rotation
- Call for late check-ins
& visitors
- Close the
net
